An introduction to the London Bridge store and its staff

Hello and welcome to Richer Sounds London Bridge!
Our store was the first to be opened, way back in 1978, and we are in the Guinness World Records for the highest sales per square foot - a record which we are very proud of and hold dear to heart. This also allows us to offer you a unique range of mega deals which are exclusive to the store especially on the weekend. The only condition to obtaining these deals is to bring yourself in to the store because we cannot offer them over the phone and the deals are not advertised anywhere on the net (due to price).

However, quality of service is always as important as quantity of customers coming into see us, and our main goal is always to make your visit an enjoyable one. We are one of the most diverse and friendliest team in our company and you can trust us to steer you straight on the obtaining the best deal for you on our many great offers. We have been trading at this site for over 30 years, and we are the NO1 flat screen and Hifi retailer for City, South bank and South London area. As we were the 1st store to be open, we also have a wide range of customers from the first time buyer up to blue chip companies.

Directions:
We are located only 2 minutes walk from London Bridge station. To get to the store from the station, take the exit at the bus terminus and turn right. Walk for 50 yards and turn right on to London Bridge walk, which is through white arches. The store is located at the end of the walkway, next to Colechurch house. If you are coming by tube take the Northern Line exit, which will bring on to Tooley Street and go left towards the London Bridge.

From the street level, we are up the stairs above Evans Cycles on the corner of London Bridge and Duke Street Hill. The store is also close to many of London’s leading tourist attractions including London Experience (just above), London Dungeon, Vinopolis and Borough market. Other methods of public transport that can be used to get to our store is by bus and the area has one of the largest number of buses going to all parts of London including the city and West end.

In-Store Demonstrations:
The store has on demonstration of multi award winning systems including the Onkyo 606 AV receiver hooked up to Kef KHT 2005.2 (Home Cinema Choice Best Buy) for surround sound or the Cambridge Audio Azur 840A amplifier, Cambridge Azur 840 CD player and Kef IQ7 for stereo duties. Other systems on demo include Onkyo CR 325, Philips MCD 908 (T3 Award winner micro-system) and the Mordant Short Mezzo and Cambridge Audio Azur 740 separates system. Just ask a sales colleague for a demo.

The store also has a wide range of flat screens on demonstrations from top manufacturers such as Pioneer, Samsung and LG playing the latest blockbusters on Blu-ray and DVD from the states and UK. We only ask bring yourself and a large bag of popcorn for sharing.

Free loading bay:
For customers who want to pick up their goods using a private vehicle the store provides a free loading bay to use whilst purchasing your goods the loading bay is located on Tooley Street opposite Saint Olaf’s house next to San Fonteras restaurant. Unlike most our store within the West end and City area we offer free parking directly under the store, so you can run in to the store without worrying if you are going to be hit with a ticket.

Home Delivery:
Our store also has an excellent working relationship with one of the major private taxi firms in London and can usually get a courier to take your purchases home at a competitive price or one of staff will help you to the taxi rank. Another benefit of shopping at the London Bridge store is our home delivery service. The home delivery service either allows the store to deliver your eagerly anticipated goods straight to the door without you lifting a finger on a day suitable to you or we can deliver on the same day for certain products. Please do not hesitate to ask one of the colleagues about the service.

Installation:
Finally if you have got your goods home and you want a professional at home installation we can provide with an AV installer who can carry out the work at a reasonable rate. From fitting plasma on to the wall to setting up multi award winning multi-room systems such as Sonos or Cambridge Audio’s Incognito. STORE STAFF

Nev (Grandad), Store Manager
With over 25 years in retail you can expect service with a smile! He is one of the longest serving managers in Richer Sounds. If you want to see something funny ask Nev to show you the pictures of him in his 1970's Arsenal kit (leather n tight shorts version)or you can see him in action as Vin Diesel's stunt-double in 'Pitch Black' and 'XXX'. Nev also enjoys dressing up in glam rock outfits and looks extremely dashing in a pair of white spandex with red stilettos.

Wasim (Bubba), Deputy Manager
With that cheeky grin you would think that Wasim had just won Big Brother 2007, but alas he bet all his money on the first person to be evicted from the 2007 series. However do not let that deter you because Wasim offers one of the best customer services throughout Richer Sounds. In his spare time Wasim dreams of opening a chain of vegetarian kebab stores through out the North West region. Also do not accept any sweets off him when you leave because all his uncles are dentists and he is always trying devious ways to tell customers to go to his uncle dentist down the road.

Russell (Padawan), Sales Consultant
Russell is the resident gamester in the store and knows more about games and computer then Mr. Kipling's knows about muffins. Another passion of Russell is Star Wars and he's an avid follower of the upcoming Jedi religion. Although small in stature Russell has a big heart and is always looking to help anyone. Come in and see him if you want a great deal.

Robin (Monkey Magic), Sales Consultant
Robin is one of the craziest deputy managers you will ever meet, he combines X-file weirdness with the skill of  Master Yoda. He tries to act like Superman but unlike this superhero he speaks faster then a speeding bullet and is louder than a locomotive. However all the colleagues agree that he is good for store morale and for customers he's a bit like a bottle of cod liver oil, but without the bitter after taste!

Jenine (Miss Behaviour), Sales Consultant
Jenine is our resident prankster in the store and is always using her charms and naughtiness to stitch up colleagues. Although she has been in the store for about a year and a half, she has rapidly risen to the top of the game with her knowledge and charm. With her tenacious and sassy smile and personality I am sure that she will enliven and brighten up your day. So if you require cheering up and you want to get rid of the moody day blues, come on in and have a chat because Jenine eliminates sadness a bit like Kryptonite to Superman's powers. Also if you are lucky and you happen to come in when she is trying to sing and do pirouettes you might even see her in Wonder Woman outfit which she keeps under her uniform. Her bubbly nature also hides a sinister side as she is one of the biggest jokers in the store and dreams of appearing on Dream Girls 2. Alas her lack of singing skills did not get past the front door of the studio for the X factor!
